Frost hardy small deciduous shrub with orange-yellow flowers in summer. Ht. 60cm Abutilon Indian Mallow - Evergreen species with a dense growth habit. Lance-shaped dark green leaves with spined teeth. The flowers are golden yellow in spring followed by blue-black fruits. Berberis gagnepagni Barberry - Gold rim to purple leaves. One of the best purple Berberis for orange autumn colour. Berberis thunbergii Golden Ring - Purple leaves, mottled cream and pink. Ht 1m. Berberis thunbergii Harlequin - Compact deciduous prickly shrub with rich reddish-purple leaves turning vivid red in autumn. Small yellow flowers in spring followed by some edible red berries in autumn. Ht 1.5m Berberis thunbergii purpurea - Pink flowers, lilac berries throughout winter. Rich Autumn colour. Ht 1.5m.
